Gurudwara hargobindsar Sahib website. If we look at its history, we find that when the sixth Patshah Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji was released from the fort of Gwalior. They came to Punjab by this route. Guru Sahib stopped at this place for some time, got on his horse and rested. At that time there was no Gurudwara Sahib building at this place. The tall bushes were overgrown with weeds.
This place is blessed with Guru ji’s sacred soul and drinking the purifying water of sarovar cures all the physically and mentally ill people.Baba Baghel Singh Dhaliwal ,along with his 30,000 warriors, on their way to conquer Delhi in late 1770s stopped and rested at this holy place. Before proceeding towards Tees Hizari, they took care of the horses near a water body(pond) which was built by Baba Buddha ji during his stay at Gurudwara.
